我覺得他的劇本都很難讀 Travisties還講到Marx, Joyce跟dadaism 真的不怕人看不懂 前幾天我讀他的另一個劇本The Real Thing, 也不是很喜歡 不過他舞台劇最有名的應該是英國文學課本裡的那篇The Real Inspector Hound 莎翁情史的電影劇本就是他寫的 他還有翻譯過捷克劇作家Havel的劇本 |
